How to make stress balls

How+to+make+stress+balls
The Bring Change to Mind Club decided to make homemade stress balls during lunch on March 8. In hopes of ending the stigma around mental health and reducing the increasing stress levels of MVHS students, the club decided to organize an activity for MVHS students. Look at the gifs below to see the step by step process.

Materials you’ll need:
1. Inflated balloons
2. Rice
3. Spoon
4. Paper (optional)
5. Water Bottle with the end cut off (optional)
6. Sharpies

1. Pry open the balloons with your fingers, so you can place a funnel inside to fill up the balloon with rice or just use a spoon to fill it up. Using a spoon rather than a funnel will take more time. Now, stick the funnel (a paper funnel or a water bottle that has been cut open) into the neck of the balloon, to fill up the balloon with rice. If you don’t have those materials, then just start filling up the inflated balloon with rice using a spoon.

2. Let out as much air as you can, by periodically pushing down all the rice in the balloons using a spoon handle or a pencil.

3. Repeat this process until the balloon is two to three inches long.

4. Squeeze out any excess air and tie the balloon.

5. Enjoy your stress ball. Use a sharpie to design and make it your own!
