Sophomore Meera BambrooDSC_0024
EE: What do you have for lunch?

Meera Bambroo: I got sushi from Whole Foods … School started at 11:35 a.m., so I went to Whole Foods before school, and this stuff is really good.

EE: Why do you like sushi so much?

MB: [Sushi] is my favorite [food]. It’s just really good, whenever we go out for dinner we always want to go out to sushi.

EE: Do you eat this type of food often?

MB: No, because I’m gonna get mercury poisoning and die.

EE: What type of food do you usually eat then?

MB: I eat Indian food usually, because I’m Indian.

EE: Who usually makes your food?

MB: My mom, or we buy it from outside.

EE: Is Indian food important to you?

MB: Not really, it’s kind of routine now. What I eat, it doesn’t really have any significance.

EE: Would you ever replace Indian food with sushi?

MB: I don’t know. That’s really hard. Some days, I just want to go home and eat the food that I’ve been eating since I was a young kid. But sometimes I just get so sick of it that I just want to eat something else. I don’t think I would replace it.
