EE: What do you have for lunch today?
AK: This is just rice cooked with tamarind powder, with some vegetables and then a small dressing made of some other vegetables like onions and tomatoes.
EE: Which culture’s food is this?
AK: It’s definitely Indian.
EE: Who makes it for you?
AK: [Usually it’s] my mom, but I’ve helped her out before as well.
EE: Do you enjoy Indian food?
AK: I enjoy it a lot and I’m sure my taste buds have a very good memory of the food because I’ve been eating it for a very long time.
