DSC_0008 copyEl Estoque: What do you have for lunch today?

Audrey Cui: My food is [Chinese] fried rice, with celery, carrots, and shrimp.

EE: What types of food do you eat?

AC: It’s pretty much rice, noodles, and dumplings. One of those three.

EE: How often do you eat Chinese food?

AC: Pretty often. Maybe not daily but every other day seems about right.

EE: Who usually makes your food?

AC: I think my mom made it this morning. Usually it’s my grandma.

EE: Since when have you been eating Chinese food? Does it hold a special place in your heart?

AC: Yeah, [it’s always been a part of my daily life]. Other than I eat it every day, [I don’t really have any connections with it].
