Pressing onward

Additional reporting by Michelle Wong and Alyssa Hui.

Senior Olivia Lassa has played for MVHS water polo for three years, three seasons and three coaches. The current coach, Chris Love, joined this year following the resignation of previous girls varsity coach, Gigi Swan. But on top of the change in coaching staff, Lassa has been forced to cope with many other struggles in terms of her water polo career. Although official practices began on Aug. 10, her year on the team is already off to a tough start.
