MVHS students try to start Sports Medicine Club on campus

When an athlete is injured on the field, extensive help is needed in order to ensure recovery. With that in mind, three high school athletes set out to learn more about the physiology of their bodies and recovery process for fellow athletes. The three students, Sophomores Jacquelyn Loretto, Kimi Chen and Freshman Emily Tang, decided to spread awareness of sports medicine and start a club where students learn about injuries while connecting with their trainer and mentor, Javier Margarito.
