Memories, we all have them close to our hearts. Whispers of the past floating around in our minds, just waiting to be remembered. Sometimes our memories can be overwhelming as well as overpowering, causing us to forget some rather than others.

But there’s always that one memory that just sticks in our minds, floating around. That one flop, that one rush of excitement, that one moment of happiness. And sometimes there’s one item that connects us to those feelings, so we can recall it anytime we want. For some, it’s a stuffed animal; for others, it’s something a little out of the ordinary, something they hold dear to them. A lanyard, a leg brace or a photocard from a concert. Whatever the item may be, it opens up the gate of emotions that come with recalling that memory.
