On Sept. 17, after seven years filled with plans, approval processes and renovations, Main Street Cupertino finally had its grand opening. It began with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the morning, which was followed by a parade and throughout the day, Main Street Cupertino was celebrated with local bands, performances, and food booths. Chetana Ramaiyer is currently a managing for El Estoque and a senior at MVHS. This is her third year on staff and she is very interested in combining computer science with journalism. She is part of the web development team for the multimedia packages to combine both interests.
