After Writing for Publications students participated in a “one day tech fast” assignment last week, tech fasts have been put back on the map. To complete the assignment, students had to spend a full 24 hours without technology. Students do the fast to become more in touch with the world around them, hopefully gaining a new perspective. Two students and a staff member share their experiences and thoughts on tech fasts.
