Participants wore signs citing facts such as "In the time it takes you to read this sign, someone dies from hunger." Those who participated could also opt to collect donations. Their collections totaled $553.47 which will be donated to World Vision, the creator of the 30 Hour Famine. The event culminated with a potluck in room C107 at lunch on Nov. 4 to end the fast.
